Dalila recently earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, where she explored the complexities of spinal cord injury, focus on the contribution of the perivascular and extracellular matrix components. Now, as a junior postdoc, she continues to study the intricacies of neural repair, always looking for the next scientific puzzle to solve.

When Dalila is not busy in the lab, you can find her immersed in a good romance or detective novel, dominating board game nights, rolling critical hits in RPGs, or catching up on the latest series. She is also an avid DIY enthusiast, always ready to create something crafty.
